Many healthcare practices utilize terminal servers or remote desktop connections to access their applications, other people use their phones to go online and buy medicines. Many believe that by clicking on the “X” in the connection bar (shown below) that this will log them off. This actually only disconnects the session and doesn’t ‘end’ the session, so other people can reconnect and purchase more medicines.
If your session seems to be hung, you can push and then select “logoff” to completely end the remote desktop connection session.
